Professional Development Opportunities Are Still Available Online!
We have received inquiries from CIHs and QEPs who are concerned that they will not be able to acquire enough Certification Maintenance Points and Professional Development Hours during the cancellation of in-person events due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please be aware that online coursework is available, not limited to the resources listed, below*:

*Please note that this is not an endorsement of any particular coursework or organization and is not an exhaustive list. There are many other sources for online coursework; however, all coursework, regardless of format, will require proper documentation, including: proof of completion, date, duration, title, sponsoring organization and/or other 3rd party verification. PLEASE NOTE FOR WEBINARS: You must have proof of completion, not just the registration.
In addition, automatic six-month extensions are already available for the CIH CM program, but please request this option only if you are sure you need one and only for the cycle ending 6/30/2020. QEP extensions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. To request an extension for the CIH program, please send a request to cmmanager@abih.org, and for the QEP program, please send a request to ipep@ipep.org.
