Ethics

The Board for Global EHS Credentialing develops and promotes high ethical standards for industrial hygienists.  These rules apply to those individuals seeking BGC certification (candidates) and all individuals certified by BGC (Certificants/Diplomates).

Individuals, groups, or organizations may submit an ethics complaint against candidates or Certificants by using the Ethics Charge Statement Form. Before submitting a complaint, please review the BGC Code of Ethics and the BGC Ethics Case Procedures in order to understand the BGC ethical standards and procedures for processing complaints.

Ethics Review Committee

The Ethics Review Committee is comprised of BGC Diplomates. After receiving a formal complaint, the committee may be involved in determining whether violations of the BGC Code of Ethics have occurred. The committee is referenced in the Ethics Case Procedures.
